Financial Account Numbers / Restricted Identifiers

Court filings cannot include restricted identifiers unless they are necessary to the case and filed according to General Rule of Practice 11. Restricted identifiers include Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers (EINs, ITINs, TINs), and financial account numbers. Public filings may include only the last four digits of financial account numbers, but no portion of a SSN, EIN, or TIN may appear in a public filing.
