Protective Orders for Documents / Records

A protective order is usually agreed to in divorce/family cases so that it limits the disclosure of personal or material information to the public.  Common information that we would request a protective order would be:

  • Chemical Dependency Evaluations
  • Psych Evals
  • Domestic Abuse Inventories
  • Mental health records
  • Medical Records
  • Business records

Both lawyers should sign on behalf of the clients. The Judge will sign as well.
