Dismissing an HRO/OFP for no contact agreement in dissolution/custody
In cases where there is already an open divorce/custody case (or soon to be an open case) and an HRO/OFP is pending, one of the potential resolutions is that the HRO/OFP be dropped with the agreement that a no-contact provision will be ordered in the dissolution/custody case.
This would need to be agreed upon by both parties and stipulations would need to be drafted and filed in both the HRO/OFP case and the dissolution case.
